Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment; familiarity with GAAP.
- Technical Skills: Intacct required. Advanced Excel Functions and financial reporting tools.
- Soft Skills: Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities.
- Education: BA/BS in Finance or Accounting required or minimum 3yrs industry experience
- Industry: Non Profit Highly Preferred
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Assist in month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare reports for management.
- Support budget preparation and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Maintain and improve internal control processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize Excel and accounting software to manage financial data effectively.
