Addison Group is seeking an Entry-Level Accountant for a contract-to-hire role with our client in San Antonio, Texas. This position requires at least one year of experience working in the accounting field and pays up to $60,000 per year contingent upon applicable experience.
Responsibilities:
· Collect, verify, and analyze documents related to the company's financial activities
· Analyze and prepare monthly journal entries
· Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly
· Review financial documents for accuracy
· Ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards
· Provide timely and accurate month-end close financials
· Collaborate with other departments and assist with accounting issues and queries as needed
Requirements:
· Minimum of 1 year of reconciliation experience
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
· Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
