About Our Client

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a well-established nonprofit organization focused on community health and support services. They provide essential programs throughout the Midwest and are seeking additional administrative support due to staffing needs. The ideal candidate will be flexible to work at one of two potential Chicago locations based on organizational needs.


Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Administrative Assistant to support front-office operations within a behavioral health setting. This role is responsible for assisting patients, managing documentation, coordinating scheduling needs, and ensuring an organized and welcoming office environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check in patients, ensuring a positive and professional first point of contact
  • Upload, organize, and maintain patient documents and records in the electronic health system
  • Make outbound calls to clients regarding appointments, follow-ups, and general communication
  • Confirm scheduled visits and support providers with appointment coordination
  • Manage calendars, scheduling requests, and daily administrative workflows

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including underserved communities
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and the ability to support a wide range of patient needs
