An organization is looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Manager to support its North America HR team.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Support global HR process delivery related to Compensation & Benefits, including contributions as a system super user.
  • Provide compensation support, including job evaluations and designing compensation packages that meet business unit and global HR requirements.
  • Assist with the annual salary surveys, salary, and bonus processes.
  • Oversee the administration and compliance of all North America benefit retirement and pension programs.
  • Provide recommendations on local retirement/pension programs.
  • Administer the US deferred compensation program.
  • Conduct budgeting and financial analysis for employee compensation and benefit programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations related to Compensation & Benefits programs, including plan testing, audits, and SOX compliance.
  • Act as the primary contact with Compensation & Benefits consultants and plan providers.
  • Manage vendor systems and technology supporting benefit plans, working closely with Payroll and Employee Services.
  • Coordinate and/or execute global and local HR processes or policies, ensuring equal treatment and pay equity across business units.
  • Propose and implement harmonization of HR processes at the country level, aligned with global HR principles, policies, and guidelines.
  • Implement Global Compensation and Benefits policies and comply with local legal requirements.
  • Support Mobility (e.g., international assignments) for local HR and managers, and provide input to Mobility HQ.
  • Provide expert advice, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to a service-oriented culture that meets service level agreements.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding employee compensation and benefits.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially in interactions with senior management.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, human resources, or a related field.
  • At least six years of progressively responsible experience in employee compensation and benefits.
