Company and Position 

A community based health center that provides primary care, OBGYN, Dental and other services to the local community in Wilmington is looking for a Healthcare Coordinator to join their team!   This individual will follow up on patient referrals, obtaining prior authorizations, coordinating transportation, confirm eligibility and assist with connecting patients to providers. This position is not patient facing rather over the phone assisting patients with coordinating their plan of care. 

  

Pay rate: $15-17/hr (based on experience) 


Hours: M-F Day time hours (8am-5pm) NO WEEKENDS!!!  

Job duties: 

    

  • Following up on patient referrals and obtaining prior authorizations

  

  • Scheduling transportation needs and other services per care plan 

  

  • Help ease patients over the phone by assisting them with their plan of care 

  

  • Office duties as assigned

   

Location: Wilmington, DE  


Required

2) ) Experience with insurances or some kind of healthcare eligibility experience; open to training if someone is motivated
