Hours: 8-5 M-F
Summary:
The Legal Secretary is highly organized and detail-oriented, while providing legal and administrative support to attorneys.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with and preparation of transactional documents including purchase and sale agreements, regulatory agency filings and county recordings, and corporate/LLC formation documents
- Familiarity with employee benefit plans and ERISA
- Proficient proofreading, redlining, and editing
- Maintain and organize client documents in a document management system
- Oversight of attorneys’ billing (including time entry, editing and invoicing)
- Use scheduling software to docket meetings, appointments, and crucial deadlines
- Coordination and utilization of video conferencing and collaboration tools
- Establish and manage new client files
- Perform clerical tasks (including drafting letters, memos, emails and other correspondence)
- Prepare and submit check requests, expenses reports, etc.
- Nominal overtime may be required

Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of relevant legal secretary experience
