Job Title: Payroll Supervisor

Location: St. Paul, Minnesota – Hybrid (weekly onsite presence required). Local Minnesota applicants only.

Pay Rate: $95K-$105K annually dependent on applicable experience

We’re working with a well-established organization in St. Paul that’s looking to bring on a Payroll Supervisor to lead a team of four payroll specialists. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys mentoring, jumping in on process improvements, and keeping payroll operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.


The ideal candidate brings hands-on Workday experience, strong communication skills, and a steady leadership style. If you’ve managed multi-state payroll, supported system changes, or been the go-to person for payroll troubleshooting, this will feel like a natural next step.


What You’ll Do

  • Oversee a team of four payroll specialists and support their day-to-day workflow
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing within Workday
  • Oversee Workday implementations, support staff training, and improve payroll workflows for smoother operations.
  • Partner with HR, accounting, and leadership on escalations and compliance questions
  • Review and optimize processes, documentation, and payroll controls
  • Oversee payroll audits, reporting, and any system enhancements
