Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
About The Role:
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys recruiting, connecting with candidates, and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will support the driver recruiting process from initial application review through phone screening and background checks, helping ensure qualified candidates move forward efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review candidate applications and source qualified candidates for open driver positions.
- Manage and review applicants through the ATS platform.
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and interest.
- Identify qualified candidates and coordinate next-round interviews with hiring managers.
- Initiate background checks and help move candidates through the recruiting process.
- Maintain organized candidate information and ensure timely follow-up throughout the initial recruiting stages.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to support an efficient hiring process and positive candidate experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous recruiting, talent acquisition, or candidate screening experience preferred.
- Experience with driver recruiting or transportation industry hiring is a plus.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking and recruiting systems preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and driver qualification requirements preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively with a recruiting team.
