The Marketing Campaign Developer is the engine behind personalized messages that reach millions of customers. You’ll work with marketing, analytics, and tech teams to make sure every email, text, and push notification is targeted, automated, and optimized for impact.

Role Overview:
This roler will build, automate, and optimize customer journeys and multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive engagement, loyalty, and revenue. Acting as the technical expert on the campaign automation platform, this individual will develop sophisticated workflows, personalization logic, and integrations to ensure customers receive timely, relevant communications.
This role requires strong technical acumen (SQL, scripting, APIs) and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, IT, and Data Science teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build and optimize lifecycle campaigns (welcome, win-back, abandoned cart, loyalty automations).
- Execute campaigns across Email, SMS, Push, and Direct Mail channels using an enterprise automation system.
- Integrate customer and transactional data to drive personalization and targeting.
- Write intermediate SQL queries for segmentation and audience selection.
- Conduct QA testing, measure performance, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and deliverability standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align data, technology, and marketing requirements.
- Maintain documentation and campaign performance dashboards.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of hands-on campaign development experience in SFMC, Adobe Campaign, Braze, Responsys, Zeta, or similar platforms.
- Intermediate SQL skills and familiarity with APIs or data integrations.
- Strong HTML/CSS and personalization scripting for email.
- Proven success developing scalable, data-driven lifecycle marketing programs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with large data sets and relational databases.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Retail POS, or Loyalty Program data.
- Experience in a retail or consumer-facing organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Work Conditions
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, hybrid (4 days onsite).
- Reports To: Manager, Marketing Automation.
