Our client, a local Non-Profit is looking to add Senior Accountant on a temporary-permanent basis.

 

Requirements

·      5+ years of Accounting experience, ideally out of a Non-Profit

·      Bachelor’s Degree in a business related filed

·      Strong GL experience required  ( Minimum of 2 years)

·      Strong month End, Reconciliation, Financial statement Prep experience

Senior Accountant will assist in the month-end close, preparation of monthly and quarterly financials, ensuring the integrity of internal reporting, financial statement preparation and analysis, and variance analysis


Responsibilities

·      Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes

·      Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and accompanying schedules at audit ready status for month end and annual closing.

·      Prepare all balance sheet schedules for annual audit including Uniform Grant Guidance audit and tax audit including Form 990 schedules.

·      Prepare workpapers and manage pledge and general receivable schedules.

·      Reconcile intercompany accounts and prepare any proposed journal entries.

·      Prepare all journal entries necessary to perform tasks for review by Controller.

·      Review adjusted trial balance monthly; recommend revisions and or journal entries to bring into compliance.

·      Reconcile all bank accounts in a multi company environment
