Position Overview:
Addison Group is currently partnering with a client who is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with a strong background in residential construction to join our team. This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented professional to produce accurate project estimates, conduct cost analyses, and support competitive project bids. The ideal candidate is adept with construction estimation software, knowledgeable in market trends, and skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. The client is experiencing a lot of exciting growth and this particular role could turn into leadership quickly.
- Estimate Preparation & Cost Analysis: Develop and analyze detailed cost estimates for residential projects, including labor, materials, and subcontractor quotes.
- Bid Management: Review bidding documents to ensure thorough coverage of all construction aspects, supporting competitive and complete bids.
- Market Research & Value Engineering: Monitor industry trends, adjust estimates based on market changes, and optimize project designs for cost-effectiveness.
- Documentation & Quality Control: Maintain precise records, implement best practices in estimating, and review estimates for accuracy.
- Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 5-7 years of estimation experience in residential construction, proficiency in software like BlueBeam and RSMeans, with strong analytical and communication skills.
