Salary: $70k - $90k base + bonus
Established Bay Area based consumer manufacturing company seeks a Staff Accountant to assist the tax team with preparation of journal entries and monthly reconciliations of income tax accounts, organization of tax forms. This role will also maintain the tax books for fixed assets and assist with researching the tax treatment of fixed assets. The compliance function is co-sourced with an external 3rd party and this role will have the opportunity to be involved with special projects to streamline and automate the process. This role will be working onsite 3 days per week.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field of study.
- 2-4 years general accounting experience, including journal entries.
- Fixed Assets experience a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, sum ifs, etc.)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
