About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established organization in the automotive industry seeking an experienced Title Clerk to support their vehicle documentation and registration operations.
Job Description:
The Title Clerk will oversee the processing of vehicle titles and registrations, ensuring compliance with state requirements and accuracy in all legal documentation. This role requires direct experience handling vehicle title work and an ability to manage high-volume administrative tasks with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage title and registration paperwork for all vehicles in compliance with state and local regulations.
- Prepare, review, and submit tax, title, and lien release documents accurately.
- Work directly with the Oklahoma Tax Commission and other state agencies on title transfers and registrations.
- Track and verify out-of-state titles and lien releases.
- Communicate with lienholders, dealerships, and management to resolve title discrepancies or missing documentation.
- Follow up on pending lien releases, updating internal systems and records accordingly.
- Confirm vehicles are cleared for sale by reviewing auction lists and documentation.
- Issue trade payoff checks promptly and maintain organized records of completed transactions.
- Stay current on changing title laws and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Must have prior vehicle title experience—automotive dealership or related industry preferred.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing documents.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with computer systems and data entry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Additional Details:
This is a full-time, on-site position with standard weekday hours. Training on internal systems and compliance processes will be provided.
