Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for portfolio project management in the aerospace and defense sector.
• Participate in requirements analysis and project planning activities to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Develop, test, and deploy software applications and tools to support project management activities, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and performance tracking.
• Utilize version control systems and project management tools to manage code repositories, track issues, and monitor project progress.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve software functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback, prioritize feature requests, and address user needs and requirements.
• Assist in the documentation of software designs, architectures, and technical specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing and project continuity.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software development processes.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering with exposure to portfolio project management in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Dot Net, MSSQL, ASP.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense industry standards and regulations is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and project management tools (e.g., ADO).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
