Job Description:
The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources operations, acting as a primary point of contact for employees and managers. This position focuses heavily on HR administrative functions including onboarding, payroll updates, benefits coordination, and employee support within a structured, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process employee transactions including payroll updates, benefits enrollments, and status changes with a high level of accuracy
- Serve as a main contact for employee and manager inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring all documentation and processes are completed efficiently
- Maintain and update employee records within HRIS systems while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, life event changes, and open enrollment activities
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth HR operations
- Assist with leave tracking, compliance processes, and HR reporting
- Contribute to process improvements and maintain documentation for HR procedures
- Support audits, special projects, and additional HR initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in HR, payroll, benefits administration, or a related administrative role
- Working knowledge of HR processes, employment regulations, and benefits programs (e.g., FMLA, COBRA, ACA)
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, or similar platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
