About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with our client, a respected legal organization, to hire a Legal Receptionist who will serve as the face of the office while supporting daily administrative operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Description:
The Legal Receptionist plays a key role in creating a positive first impression for clients, visitors, and business partners. In addition to managing front desk responsibilities, this position provides administrative support to attorneys and legal staff while helping ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and manage incoming phone calls with professionalism and efficiency
- Route inquiries to the appropriate team members and provide exceptional customer service
- Coordinate incoming deliveries and distribute packages throughout the office
- Process outgoing mail, courier requests, and overnight shipments
- Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate replenishment orders
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks and document-related requests
- Support office organization, filing, and general clerical functions
- Help with new matter intake, file setup, and other operational support as needed
- Contribute to a professional and organized office environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, administrative assistant, or office support role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working in a legal environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with TABS software is a plus
- Dependable, professional, and customer-service focused
