Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support its marketing and communications team through the end of the year. This position will help maintain digital platforms, coordinate content and email communications, support webinars and events, and ensure website and contact information remains accurate and up to date.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with WordPress, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and publish website content including articles, reports, blog posts, press releases and other digital materials
- Make routine updates to website pages, event sites and homepage content
- Assist with weekly newsletters and email communications in coordination with internal teams
- Support webinar and event-related digital content, branding and platform updates
- Maintain and organize contact lists, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
- Perform regular website checks and assist with ongoing site maintenance
- Manage email deployments through ActiveCampaign, Bizzabo or similar platforms
- Upload and organize digital content using appropriate categories, tags, links and metadata
- Provide general digital and administrative support for marketing and communications projects
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, web content management or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred
- Hands-on experience with WordPress required
- Experience with Webflow preferred, particularly for future website implementation
- Familiarity with Monday.com or another project management platform
- Experience with an email marketing or CRM platform such as ActiveCampaign preferred
- Familiarity with event management platforms such as Bizzabo or similar software
- Knowledge of Google Analytics preferred; certification is a plus
- Experience in a nonprofit, association or marketing/communications agency environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal teams and manage changing priorities
Additional Details:
- Contract position through the end of the calendar year
- Earliest anticipated start date: October 12, 2026
- Hybrid schedule with Tuesdays and Thursdays onsite in Washington, DC
- 35 hours per week
- Standard schedule is 10am-5pm
- Overtime is not anticipated and requires supervisor approval
- Candidates must have experience with WordPress, Webflow and Monday.com or comparable platforms
- Updated professional references are required, including at least 2 supervisory references and 1 peer reference prior to starting
- Interview process consists of one virtual panel interview
