Job Description:
Addison Group is actively seeking a compassionate and experienced Paralegal for our client’s growing legal team, which specializes in personal injury and sensitive claim matters. The role involves a combination of case management, direct client communication, and support of litigation processes in both federal and state courts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high volume of legal files and ensure key deadlines and milestones are met
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing compassionate and timely updates on case progress
- Draft and organize legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Assist attorneys with legal research, trial preparation, and assembling exhibits
- Collaborate with internal team members across departments to gather information and maintain accurate case records
- Participate in settlement preparation and documentation processes
- Support federal and state court filings and related litigation tasks
- Maintain data in case management software and assist in transition to Salesforce
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury or high-volume litigation settings
- Prior involvement with sensitive or complex cases such as sexual assault claims is strongly preferred
- Experience with federal and state legal procedures, including filing, discovery, and case tracking
