Addison Group, in partnership with our client based in Downtown Los Angeles, is seeking a hybrid-remote Property Accountant Consultant to join their team.
This is a 10 month long contract opportunity with the potential for permanent conversion.
Job Site Status (onsite/hybrid/remote) – This is a hybrid-opportunity in Downtown LA that will only require you to come into the office 1-2 times per month. You may be required to come in more frequently for the first few weeks of training.
Compensation/Benefits – Hourly rate ranges from $35/hr-$40/hr depending on qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Performing month end & variance reporting, bank reconciliations, trial balances & income statements for 6 different commercial properties
· Inputting all data into Yardi provided by Property Managers
· Reviewing all leases and rental edits
· Reviewing and approving Accounts Receivables including billing adjustments & security deposit refunds
· Reviewing and approving Accounts Payable vendor invoices for property number, coding, description and approvals
· Inputting and reviewing budgets and approving CAM/Escalation reconciliations and other related billing adjustments.
REQUIREMENTS
· 2+ years of Real estate industry experience
· 4 years of Accounting experience
· Prior experience utilizing Yardi software
· Prior financial reporting experience
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; This is a client-facing role
· Ability to take on a substantial workload to lead the team through example
· Ability to work with minimal managerial supervision
