Compensation: $80-85/HR
Work schedule: this is a part-time role, up to 20 hours per week, client is flexible when contractor works hours but needs availability Monday-Friday

We are seeking an experienced SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) Consultant to provide part-time support for a growing Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) program. This consulting role will focus on advising, configuring, enhancing, and optimizing the organization's SailPoint ISC environment. Working up to 20 hours per week, this consultant will serve as a subject matter expert, partnering with security, infrastructure, application, and audit teams to improve governance processes, implement best practices, and support key SailPoint initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
SailPoint ISC Advisory & Platform Support
- Provide ongoing administration, configuration, and optimization of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
- Troubleshoot platform, connector, and integration issues as needed.
- Recommend improvements to governance workflows, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on SailPoint best practices and platform capabilities.
Application Onboarding & Identity Governance
- Support onboarding of applications and systems into SailPoint ISC.
- Configure and maintain application connectors and identity mappings.
- Establish and refine identity correlation strategies across connected systems.
- Ensure accurate synchronization of identities, accounts, and entitlements.
Integration & Technical Consulting
- Configure and support API integrations between SailPoint and enterprise applications.
- Assist with provisioning, identity data exchange, and connector implementations.
- Provide guidance on custom integration requirements and technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and connectivity challenges.
Governance, Compliance & Audit Support
- Configure and support access certifications, campaigns, and governance workflows.
- Assist with RBAC design, access modeling, and entitlement governance.
- Support audit and compliance initiatives through reporting and documentation.
- Advise stakeholders on governance best practices and SailPoint capabilities.
Strategic Enhancement Initiatives
- Evaluate and implement SailPoint ISC features and capabilities not currently in use.
- Support Better Together integration efforts between SailPoint and ServiceNow.
- Assist with the transition of provisioning and deprovisioning processes into SailPoint.
- Provide strategic recommendations aligned with the organization's long-term IGA roadmap.
Custom Development & Scripting
- Develop and maintain scripts or customizations required for integrations and connector functionality.
- Troubleshoot complex identity management challenges.
- Deliver targeted enhancements and technical solutions on an as-needed basis.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) and/or SailPoint IdentityIQ.
- Strong experience with SailPoint connector configuration, application onboarding, and identity governance.
- Experience configuring and supporting API integrations and provisioning workflows.
- Deep understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance, and RBAC concepts.
- Experience supporting audit and compliance requirements related to identity governance.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Java, BeanShell, or similar.
- Ability to work independently and provide expert-level consulting guidance in a part-time capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
- SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) implementation experience.
- Experience with SailPoint Access Intelligence Center (AIC).
- Experience with SailPoint Better Together integrations.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow provisioning and identity management workflows.
- Experience supporting enterprise IAM/IGA programs.
- SailPoint Engineer certification strongly preferred.
