Addison Group is partnering with our client, a well-established organization with a strong internal technology team, to hire a Systems Administrator. This company offers a collaborative environment, modern systems, and opportunities for growth within IT operations and support.
Job Description:
This role is ideal for an early-career IT professional who enjoys problem-solving and supporting business-critical systems. The Junior Systems Administrator will play a key role in maintaining software platforms, troubleshooting user issues, and ensuring systems run smoothly. You’ll work closely with internal teams to resolve technical challenges and improve overall system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for system-related support requests, managing a steady flow of daily tickets
- Diagnose and resolve access, performance, and functionality issues across internal platforms
- Support and maintain business applications tied to operational workflows (including order-to-cash processes)
- Assist with system configuration, updates, and ongoing maintenance
- Monitor system health and take proactive steps to prevent disruptions
- Collaborate with team members and escalate more complex technical issues when needed
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users
- Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and system optimization efforts
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Basic understanding of business systems, workflows, and infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours with flexibility as needed
- Hybrid work model: In-office Monday–Wednesday; remote Thursday–Friday
