Job Title: HR Generalist

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 annually (based on experience)

Benefits: This position is eligible for full medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits. The company offers a 401(k) match of dollar-for-dollar up to 3%, and 50% match on contributions between 3–5% (up to 4% total employer contribution). Bonus eligibility is discretionary based on company performance and individual contribution.


Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Experience supporting managers with employee relations, performance management, and employee development
  • Working knowledge of HR policies, employment law fundamentals, and standard market practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems, payroll coordination, recruiting coordination, and benefits administration
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with process improvement in a small-team environment
  • Technologically savvy and comfortable learning new systems

Job Description:

The HR Generalist supports the day-to-day execution of the Human Resources function within a growing, multi-location organization. This is a hands-on, administrative-heavy role that partners closely with leadership to implement HR programs and policies across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and compliance.

This individual will serve as a trusted resource to managers and employees while helping build scalable HR processes. While managers are responsible for disciplinary actions, this role provides guidance to ensure policies are applied consistently and fairly.


Work Schedule: Full-time, onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, payroll inputs, benefits administration, HRIS updates, and employee record maintenance
  • Assist with payroll processing periodically in partnership with leadership
  • Support performance review cycles, compensation updates, and employee communications
  • Maintain HR documentation, policies, and reporting
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance management and employee concerns
  • Support workplace investigations and issue resolution in partnership with leadership
  • Assist with recruiting activities including job postings, candidate coordination, interviews, and onboarding logistics
  • Partner with hiring managers to enhance hiring processes and candidate experience
  • Support training initiatives, onboarding programs, and manager development efforts
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, employee inquiries, and vendor coordination
  • Support compensation benchmarking and program administration
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience
