Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Jr. Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and financial reporting. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, assisting with month-end activities, and contributing to special accounting projects. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate any outstanding variances.
- Review gross margin reports and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Assist with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Participate in accounting projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting-related questions.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- One to three years of accounting or finance experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Must be available to work on-site Monday through Friday in Fort Worth, Texas
