Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Benefits Specialist to join a growing HR team. This is a key role supporting benefits administration and HR systems during an exciting transition from UKG to Dayforce. The ideal candidate is a true subject matter expert in benefits who can take initiative, manage projects, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain HRIS data, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and vendor coordination
- Handle leave of absence processes including FMLA, ADA, and disability
- Support open enrollment and respond to employee benefits inquiries
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations
- Partner with payroll and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and deductions
- Assist with HR reporting, documentation, and system optimization
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of dedicated benefits experience (must have a benefits-focused title)
- Strong experience working within an HRIS system (Dayforce experience is a plus)
- Solid understanding of benefits laws, compliance, and leave administration
- Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects
- SHRM certification is a plus (not required)
