Salary: $45.00 - $55.00 Per Hour + Time and a half for Overtime - Anticipated total earnings with OT would be $200K+

Role Summary
The Safety Manager is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of health and safety operations across multiple construction sites, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and the consistent execution of company safety standards. Additionally, this role supports Human Resources by coordinating new employee onboarding, ensuring all employment and compliance documentation is completed accurately, and monitoring workforce training requirements to maintain full regulatory and company compliance.
Core Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Program Oversight
• Lead the implementation and enforcement of company-wide safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA (29 CFR 1926) and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Oversee site-specific safety plans and job hazard analyses in coordination with project leadership.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and correct hazards proactively.
• Manage incident investigations, documentation, reporting, and corrective action plans.
• Serve as the primary liaison during safety audits, regulatory inspections, and client reviews.
Training & Culture Development
• Direct safety training initiatives, including new hire orientations and ongoing workforce development.
• Maintain training compliance records and certification tracking.
• Promote accountability, hazard recognition, and continuous improvement across all operations.
Operational & Administrative Support
• Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure compliance during onboarding and workforce management.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, reporting systems, and regulatory records.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of construction safety experience
• Knowledge of OSHA construction standards
• HR support experience (onboarding) preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with accurate recordkeeping abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Current CPR/First Aid training and OSHA 30 completed with 2 years preferred
Additional Details
• Time and a half paid for overtime.
• 3 weeks vacation + 2 floating holidays.
• Benefits through BCBS after 90 days, plus dental and vision.
• 401(k) eligible after 6 months.
• Monthly taxable living support may be available for relocation candidates.
• Mileage per diem may be available for candidates living over 50 miles from the site.
