Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, order processing, administrative support, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and data entry accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using CRM systems, order management platforms, or similar business software preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external customers.
- Previous experience in a B2B, distribution, or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive customer and business information.
Job Description
Addison Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join a growing team in Nashville, TN. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, managing order-related activities, and supporting daily business operations.
In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, assisting with inquiries, processing orders, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable balancing customer service responsibilities with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers through phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Process customer orders, review purchase orders, and accurately enter information into internal systems.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, accounting, and purchasing teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Prepare shipping documentation, maintain order records, and assist with backorder management.
- Respond to customer questions regarding orders, billing, account information, and service-related concerns.
- Assist with invoice corrections, payment inquiries, and customer account updates.
- Maintain accurate customer records and activity documentation within CRM and order management systems.
- Proactively communicate with existing customers regarding recurring orders and account needs.
- Perform administrative duties, including data entry, document management, reporting, and correspondence.
- Support shipping and receiving activities for small-package deliveries.
- Identify customer concerns and work with internal teams to provide timely resolutions.
