Job Description:
The Customer Service Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for customers by handling inquiries, processing orders, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner.
- Process customer orders, updates, cancellations, returns, and account requests with accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns while escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate customer records and account information within CRM and internal systems.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Shipping, and Accounting teams to ensure prompt issue resolution and order fulfillment.
- Provide product and service information while identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
- Track open orders and proactively communicate status updates to customers.
- Meet established service, quality, and response time expectations.
- Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, and special projects as assigned.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by providing dependable support across departments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in customer service, call center, account support, or administrative support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Zendesk, or similar systems is preferred.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Additional Details:
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or business-to-business (B2B) customers is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with order entry and order management systems is a plus.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
