Location: Houston, TX
Assignment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000.00 DOE
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday Onsite 8:30am-5:30pm
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Description:
Provides essential administrative support to the HR department, focusing on tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, employee record maintenance, and payroll processing. Responsibilities include posting job openings, scheduling interviews, conducting orientation, and maintaining database accuracy. Key skills required are confidentiality, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in MS Office.
- Recruitment & Hiring: Assisting with job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
- Onboarding: Coordinating new hire orientation, preparing employment contracts, and managing employee files.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Maintaining employee databases (HRIS), processing documentation, and generating reports.
- Payroll & Benefits: Assisting with payroll, tracking attendance, PTO, and leaves.
- Employee Relations: Acting as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing prompt, professional service, and ensuring confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
- Minimum 2 years of prior HR experience (can include internship, etc)
- Microsoft Office
- HRIS experience
