Job Description: This role supports a busy, evolving HR function, working closely with leadership on day-to-day HR operations spanning employee relations, payroll coordination, HR systems, and benefits administration. The ideal person is adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrives juggling multiple priorities in a fast-changing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and a dedicated payroll resource to support accurate payroll processing
- Support HRIS implementation work, including system updates, data validation, testing, and documentation
- Help manage employee relations issues, including documentation and resolution
- Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbook content
- Oversee benefits-related administration, including HSA/FSA updates within HR systems
- Assist with vendor coordination and benefits projects such as broker evaluations and RFPs
- Provide broader support across HR initiatives and general administrative needs
Qualifications:
- 6–8 years of progressive generalist HR experience, spanning benefits, payroll, recruiting, employee relations, and retention
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Paylocity preferred; ADP experience a plus)
- Solid grasp of employee relations, HR policy, and best practices
- Prior experience supporting HR system implementations or upgrades strongly preferred
- Strong critical thinking and ability to spot trends in a fast-paced setting
- Proactive, adaptable, and interpersonally strong
