Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to support member and provider communication within a healthcare services environment. Job Description:
The Pharmacy Customer Service Representative will assist patients, providers, and pharmacy partners by handling inbound and outbound communication related to pharmacy services, medication adherence programs, and healthcare support initiatives. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to accurately document information while navigating multiple systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a phone-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with members, providers, and pharmacy partners
- Provide information regarding pharmacy programs, medication adherence, and healthcare support services
- Document customer interactions and update records within internal systems
- Review account and prescription information to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist with resolving customer questions and escalating issues when appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with healthcare-related procedures
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications and healthcare systems for tracking and reporting
- Support ongoing outreach initiatives and follow-up communication efforts
- Meet productivity, quality, and customer service expectations
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service, healthcare, pharmacy, or call center experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, phone-based environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Dependable with strong attendance and professionalism
- Experience with healthcare or pharmacy-related systems is a plus
