Pay Rate: $55,000 - $65,000 annually

Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This hybrid role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting reporting activities. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, and experience working within an ERP system (SAP strongly preferred).
Responsibilities
• Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding, entry, and timely payment
• Generate and issue customer invoices while maintaining accurate billing records
• Monitor account activity, reconcile discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding items
• Review reports and identify exceptions or variances requiring resolution
• Maintain organized financial documentation and support audit requests
• Manage accounting-related communications and respond to internal and external inquiries
• Assist with process improvements and support month-end activities
Qualifications
• 3+ years of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
• Experience with SAP strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with financial data
• Solid understanding of general ledger concepts and accounting processes
