About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with an established insurance organization seeking a Claims Support Representative to assist policyholders with inquiries and process policy-related updates.
Job Description:
This role involves supporting customers by phone and completing administrative processing tied to policy updates. The day is split between handling inbound calls and processing follow-up requests and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from policyholders regarding claims, account information, and policy details
- Make outbound calls as needed to collect additional information or clarify customer requests
- Clearly explain policy information, coverage details, and required next steps
- Process updates such as beneficiary changes, account adjustments, and other service transactions
- Manage a high call volume with accuracy and professionalism
- Document all customer interactions and action items in the internal system
- Complete administrative processing tasks during the second half of the day
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive customer and policy information
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a supportive tone with every caller
Qualifications:
- Previous claims customer service experience required
- Insurance or claims-related experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly
- High attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork and data entry
- Comfortable working in a structured, performance-driven environment
- Proficient computer and documentation skills
