Job Description:

Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire a Registration Title Clerk. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, detail-oriented work and can manage documentation processes across multiple states. The specialist will oversee titling, registration, and related recordkeeping for vehicles and equipment while ensuring compliance and accuracy in all transactions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of new and pre-owned vehicle title processing with accuracy and attention to deadlines.
  • Coordinate state-to-state title transfers and ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee annual registration and plate renewals across various states.
  • Maintain organized records, including physical title storage and equipment-related filings.
  • Track pending transactions and prepare weekly progress updates for leadership.
  • Uphold internal policies, safeguard confidential information, and support overall department organization.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience handling vehicle or equipment title/registration work in a professional office setting.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel (templates, simple formulas, navigating spreadsheets).
  • Ability to learn new software and adapt to updated systems.
  • Comfortable managing repetitive processes while handling shifting priorities.
  • Strong reliability, follow-through, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in environments such as car dealerships or tax offices is highly valued.
  • Associate’s degree or higher.
  • Intermediate Excel familiarity (advanced formulas optional; pivot tables and VLOOKUPs not required).
  • Additional credentials or coursework related to administrative, automotive, or financial operations.
