About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with one of our clients to hire an HR Support Specialist/Shared Services Representative to support a centralized Human Resources support team serving employees across multiple departments and locations.
Job Description:
This role serves as the frontline point of contact for employee HR inquiries, providing support related to HR-related concerns, policies, and general employment processes. The position focuses on high-volume case management, documentation, and basic HR transactions while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound HR calls and service requests regarding benefits, leave, payroll-related questions, and policy inquiries.
- Document all interactions within a case management system and meet quality and productivity standards.
- Research and resolve employee questions using HR resources and internal systems.
- Process data updates and administrative tasks related to employee records, benefits, and HR workflows.
- Partner with internal HR teams to resolve complex inquiries.
- Escalate sensitive or unresolved cases as appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality and provide professional, customer-focused service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6+ months of experience in an office, administrative, customer service, or call-center environment required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfortable learning HR systems.
- Strong communication skills, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism and discretion with confidential information.
