Location: Houston, TX
Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 / Year
Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, PTO, and 401 (k) benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding.
- Maintain employee records, HRIS data, and personnel files.
- Administer benefits, leave programs, and payroll-related changes.
- Advise employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- Support performance management, corrective actions, and workplace investigations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist with HR reporting, employee engagement initiatives, training, and process improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional employee support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Healthcare experience required.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
- Experience with HRIS and employee record management.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
Preferred:
- SHRM-CP, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR certification.
- Experience in multi-site or fast-paced organizations.
- Experience with employee engagement, compliance, training, or HR process improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems.
