About Our Client:
Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations and support day-to-day business performance. This organization is seeking a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, proven people-management skills, and a commitment to workplace safety. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, bilingual in Spanish and English, and experienced in maintaining equipment and supporting operational efficiency within a production-focused environment.
Job Description:
Addison Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of maintenance professionals and oversee equipment maintenance, repair planning, and operational support. This individual will help maintain reliable equipment performance, coordinate maintenance priorities, develop employees, and reinforce safe work practices. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities to support productivity and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee routine maintenance activities and help maintain reliable equipment performance.
- Coordinate inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting to address operational issues efficiently.
- Investigate recurring equipment problems and implement solutions to reduce future disruptions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to employees handling complex maintenance concerns.
- Supervise, train, and develop team members while establishing clear performance expectations.
- Assign daily responsibilities, manage priorities, and coordinate staffing according to business needs.
- Organize preventive maintenance activities to support equipment longevity and operational continuity.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, efficiency, and equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate service records, work documentation, and maintenance reports.
- Monitor supplies and replacement materials to ensure necessary resources are available.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational challenges and maintain productivity.
- Promote adherence to workplace safety procedures and established operating standards.
- Identify potential hazards and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
- Encourage accountability, communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the maintenance team.
- Communicate clearly in both Spanish and English when coordinating work, training employees, and reinforcing procedures.
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of maintenance management or supervisory experience.
- Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous experience directly managing, coaching, and developing employees.
- Background in a production-focused manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of how equipment and operational processes function.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting, repair coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience overseeing preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Ability to organize schedules, prioritize competing requests, and respond to urgent operational needs.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with quality standards and operating requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees and cross-functional teams.
- Technical education, trade training, or relevant certifications are preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking software and process-improvement initiatives is a plus.
