Job Description
Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify a professional and service-oriented Administrative Assistant/Receptionist. This individual will play a key role in supporting daily office operations, creating a welcoming environment for visitors and employees, and assisting with a variety of administrative functions. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and enjoys contributing wherever support is needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and serve as a professional first point of contact for the office.
- Help maintain organized, presentable common areas and workspaces throughout the day.
- Coordinate meeting room preparation, including arranging seating, materials, and catering when needed.
- Create, edit, and format documents using Microsoft Word and other Office applications.
- Monitor inventory levels for office and kitchen supplies and communicate replenishment needs to management.
- Submit and track facility maintenance requests to ensure office issues are addressed promptly.
- Assist with office projects, event coordination, workplace initiatives, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or office support role; corporate office experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a professional and personable phone presence.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
