Job Description:
Addison Group is partnering with a healthcare organization to hire Pre-Registration Specialists. In this role, you’ll support patients prior to their visits by assisting with financial and insurance-related processes, while delivering excellent customer service in a high-volume call environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact patients by phone to review estimated healthcare costs and financial obligations
- Collect payments and arrange payment plans when applicable
- Confirm and validate insurance coverage and eligibility details
- Gather and document required patient information and authorizations
- Respond to inbound patient inquiries related to billing and registration
- Maintain accurate records across multiple systems and platforms
- Provide clear, professional communication while ensuring a positive patient experience
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in healthcare registration, billing, or patient access preferred
- Familiarity with insurance verification, patient estimates, or collections processes
- Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional and courteous phone presence
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
