About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with our client in the Education Industry, to identify a Human Resources & Talent Manager. This organization offers a collaborative campus environment and is seeking a hands-on HR professional to lead recruiting and HR operations as a key department resource.
Job Description:
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a growing educational institution. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee recruitment efforts, manage onboarding processes, and serve as the primary HR contact for staff. This role will transition to a full-time salaried position after the initial contract period. The position is fully onsite, with occasional offsite attendance at job fairs and professional events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the organization at education-focused career fairs and networking events
- Manage the end-to-end hiring lifecycle, from requisition through offer
- Lead recruitment efforts for instructional and school-based staff
- Proactively source candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed
- Utilize HRIS system to create job postings, track applicants, and maintain HR records
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation
- Ensure compliance with evolving employment laws, including harassment prevention standards
- Serve as the primary HR resource for employees, fostering a welcoming and supportive workplace environment
Qualifications:
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment
- Familiarity with HRIS systems
- Knowledge of employment compliance requirements and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across all staff levels
- Comfortable working independently as the sole HR team member
