Job Description:
The HR Lead (Hospitality) will serve as a key partner to executive leadership, helping shape and execute people strategies that align with business goals. This is a highly hands-on role responsible for overseeing all human resources functions as a standalone leader, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
This individual will play a critical role in building and improving HR processes, advising leadership on workforce matters, and supporting a diverse employee population across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary HR leader, managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with company objectives
- Develop and refine HR policies, procedures, and programs to support scalability
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts and workforce planning strategies
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations
- Oversee performance management processes and support leadership development
- Design and administer compensation and benefits programs
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Provide guidance on organizational structure and workforce planning
- Support a variety of teams including operations, administrative staff, and field employees
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification or advanced degree is a plus
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Prior experience operating as a standalone HR professional strongly preferred
- Background in hospitality, events, or similar fast-paced industries preferred
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn and sourcing platforms
- Familiarity with payroll systems (Paychex or similar) is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage sensitive situations and influence decision-making
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to support tasks at all levels
