Addison Group is partnering with a well-established organization in the construction industry seeking an Administrative Assistant to support office operations and field teams. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is looking to grow within an administrative support role.
Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to office staff, project teams, and field personnel. This individual will help maintain organized documentation, assist with reporting and tracking processes, coordinate office activities, and ensure smooth communication between departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily office operations including phones, visitors, mail, and supply management
- Review and assist with employee timekeeping and workforce tracking activities
- Maintain digital records, project files, and compliance documentation
- Assist with onboarding paperwork, employee updates, and access coordination
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and general correspondence
- Track outstanding forms and documentation while following up with internal teams
- Coordinate meetings, trainings, and scheduling needs
- Organize and maintain electronic filing systems and shared folders
- Provide administrative support to office leadership, field staff, and project teams
- Help ensure documentation accuracy and timely record updates
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of administrative or office support experience
- Ability to commute 5 days a week onsite in Warrenton, VA
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfortable learning internal systems and document management platforms
- Prior experience within construction, manufacturing, or field operations environments is a plus
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines and shifting priorities
