Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for an Administrative Assistant to support the coordination and execution of financial settlements within a legal environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-driven, and comfortable working with financial data in a fast-paced setting.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to confirm expense details, validate payee information, and reconcile case-related financials
  • Maintain organized tracking of settlement activity and obtain required approvals prior to releasing payments
  • Finalize case records by confirming all financial steps are completed and properly closed in internal systems
  • Keep detailed, audit-ready documentation of all settlement transactions and supporting materials
  • Upload and manage settlement-related records within case management platforms
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding settlement status and provide timely updates
  • Identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when appropriate



Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; additional education preferred
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in a legal or professional services environment
  • Familiarity with settlement procedures and trust accounting concepts is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience working with case management or financial systems is advantageous
