Assignment Type: Temporary (2–3 months) with potential to convert to permanent
Compensation: $30 – $31 / Hour
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description
Our client is seeking multiple Accounts Payable Specialists to support a high-volume accounting environment during a large-scale accounts payable cleanup initiative. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate vendor payments, maintaining financial records, and supporting month-end close processes.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with large data sets, and confident using accounting systems and Excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform full-cycle accounts payable functions including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain and update vendor records, including tax documentation and payment details
- Prepare and review accounts payable aging reports and other month-end reporting
- Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Partner with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems; AP automation tools a plus
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with large data sets and technology-driven processes
