Addison Group is partnering with a fast-paced, well-established family practice seeking a Bilingual Front Desk Specialist to join their growing team. Job Description:

The Front Desk Specialist will provide front office support in a busy, patient-facing environment. This role requires strong customer service skills, familiarity with medical front desk operations, and the ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and proficient in Athena.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accuracy of demographics and insurance information.
  • Manage patient check-out, collect payments, and review visit details.
  • Answer high-volume phone lines, schedule and reschedule appointments.
  • Perform insurance verification prior to visits.
  • Support a team of seven providers, assisting with daily patient flow of 100+ visits per day.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, professionalism, and communication.
  • Collaborate with a front desk team of four to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Athena EMR experience required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Previous front desk or medical assistant experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a reliable, punctual work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced clinical environment.

Additional Details:

  • Schedule: 40 hours a week
    • Clinic hours: Monday–Friday 7am–7pm; Saturday 8am–12pm
    • Must be able to work 1–2 shifts from 10am–7pm each week
    • Standard days: 8am–5pm
    • One Saturday per month; Friday before that Saturday ends early
  • Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire
  • Work Environment: Fully onsite, patient-facing
  • Training: Basic orientation provided; must be able to learn quickly and jump in
  • Dress Code: Black scrubs
