Pay: $20 – $23 / Hourly (based on experience)

Are you a proactive, compassionate Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced specialty environment? Join our team supporting a high-volume cardiology clinic, where you’ll play an important role assisting providers, preparing patients, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Essential Job Functions
- Room patients, obtain vitals, and document accurate medical history
- Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies, and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Assist providers during cardiac procedures and diagnostic testing as needed
- Perform EKGs and assist with stress tests after proper training
- Administer injections and medications under provider direction
- Support providers with charting and EMR documentation (Athena or similar)
- Handle prior authorizations and coordinate outside testing when needed
- Assist with patient scheduling, follow-up care instructions, and phone triage
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all clinical standards
- Collaborate closely with front desk and nursing teams to support efficient patient flow
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (cardiology preferred)
- Certified/Registered MA highly preferred (CMA, RMA, CCMA, etc.)
- Experience with EKGs, vitals, and rooming patients in a specialty practice a plus

- Strong multitasker who can pivot quickly during high-volume clinic days
- Team-oriented and dependable with strong attention to detail
