About Our Client
Addison Group is partnering with a well-established organization in the engineering and infrastructure services industry that is looking to add an HR Administrator to its Human Resources team. This is a newly created role designed to support daily HR operations and ensure accurate and efficient administrative processes. The position works closely with HR leadership and talent acquisition to help maintain strong internal HR systems and employee support services.
Job Description
The HR Administrator will provide day-to-day administrative support for the Human Resources department. This role focuses on maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with onboarding and documentation, supporting HR systems, and ensuring HR processes are organized and compliant. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable handling sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR databases with a high level of accuracy
- Prepare and process HR documentation such as offer letters, employment verifications, and new hire paperwork
- Organize and maintain both digital and physical filing systems for HR records
- Provide general administrative support including document preparation, scanning, and file management
- Assist with interview scheduling and candidate communication
- Support onboarding activities by preparing materials, collecting required documentation, and entering information into HR systems
- Assist with offboarding processes including documentation updates and system changes
- Enter and maintain employee data in HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems
- Provide administrative support related to benefits enrollment and HR compliance processes
- Assist with HR events, internal trainings, and employee engagement initiatives
- Serve as an initial point of contact for employee HR inquiries and direct questions to appropriate team members
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Administration, HR Coordination, or a similar role
- Experience working with HR systems such as HRIS, ATS, payroll, or timekeeping platforms
- Basic understanding of HR practices, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organizational, communication, and administrative skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
