Job Description:
We are partnering with a well‑established organization seeking a Senior Collections Specialist to support their credit and collections function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving account issues, partnering with internal teams, and managing a high‑volume B2B collections portfolio. The position will work closely with customers to resolve past‑due balances, review orders on credit hold, and ensure timely payment processing.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to collect outstanding balances and resolve account discrepancies
- Review and act on orders placed on credit hold
- Research and resolve disputed invoices
- Provide customers with documentation related to invoices, statements, and payments
- Partner with internal teams to address delinquency issues and support collection efforts
- Utilize ERP or collections software to manage account information and workflow
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of credit and collections experience in a business‑to‑business environment
- Experience using ERP systems (GetPaid, JDE, Infor, M3, or similar)
- Strong ability to assess credit risk and manage moderately complex account situations
- Excellent communication, follow‑up, and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and comfort working with cross‑functional teams
